Extended warranty is available on the checkout page.
Remote For Nissan:
The original remote is hard to come by in working condition so we only sell a replacement remote which looks different but works the same. It also has a longer warranty. If your Altima is from 1993-1996 or 1997 with production date before 3/17/97, and it is equipped with factory keyless entry, then you can order this remote.
Programming Procedure:
IMPORTANT: Have all the remotes you want to program for the system on hand (including any existing remotes) prior to beginning the procedure. Find the alarm control module under the driver side dash (often behind the kick panel on the left) which is brown or manila colored.)
1. Sit inside the vehicle with the hood, trunk and all the doors and windows closed.
2. Place the alarm console switch in ALARM OFF position.
3. Cycle the ignition key to ??N??(as far as you can go without cranking the engine) then back to ??FF??six times within 10 seconds, ending in the ??FF??position.
4. Move the alarm console switch from the ALARM OFF to the AUTO and back to the ALARM OFF position.
5. Press the LOCK/UNLOCK button on the remote ONE time.
6. To program additional remotes (AND re-program any existing remotes), repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional remote.
