The original remotes were of poor quality and often didn’t last long. We sell a replacement remote which looks different but works the same because we pre-code the remote to send the types of signals the original would. We test remotes on keyless entry signal testers to be sure it is working before we send it to you.
GM originally made this remote with FCC ID ABO0503T and later revised it to ABO0603T. They are the same. The 3 button version of this remote has a GM part number of 10215012, while the 2 button’s part number was 10239762.
There were non-compatible remotes that look the same which have the FCC ID of ABO0203T. If you have an existing remote, compare FCC ID’s to choose the correct one.
