Remote For Isuzu:
Remote is tested on keyless entry testers to ensure it is sending proper signals. The original remote’s FCC ID is BAB237131-013 with 2 buttons.
Programming Procedure:
- For 1996 Oasis, 1996-1997 Rodeo, 1996-1997 Trooper.
1. Move the driver?? seat forward and locate the security system control unit mounted on the floor underneath the seat.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Press and hold the green programming button on the side of the control unit with a pencil point. You will be poking through a hole about the diameter of a pencil on the side of the unit. When the system security system LED on the instrument panel comes on, release the programming button. (steps 3 and 4 must be done within 5 seconds of each other.)
4. Press and release the top button of the remote. Check that the LED goes out, the siren chirps once, and the front marker lights flash to confirm.
5. If you have other remotes then repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Turn the ignition to OFF to exit programming mode.
- For 1999-2001 Vehicross.
1. Remove the driver?? side lower dashboard panel to access the keyless entry brain.
2. Turn the ignition to ON.
3. Press and hold the green programming button on the side of the unit with a pen or pencil. You will have to poke through a hold about the size of a pencil located on the side. When the exterior or LED lights go on, release the programming button.
Do step 4 within 5 seconds of step 3.
4. Press and release the top button on the remote. Check that the LED goes out, the siren chirps, and the front lights flash to confirm that the remote has been accepted.
5. If you have other remotes to program repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Turn the ignition to OFF.
The following vehicles can use this remote when equipped with the factory keyless entry system:
Isuzu Oasis (1996), Isuzu Rodeo (1996-1997), Isuzu Trooper (1996-1997), Isuzu VehiCROSS (1999-2001).
