Description
1993 Buick Riviera Discontinued Remote ABO0502T GLQ9Z6-1507
This remote’s FCC ID can be either ABO0502T or GLQ9Z6-1507 depending when it was made. They are both the same. Part number 22100943 was a Buick logo remote. Part number 22100944 and 22100945 were Oldsmobile logo fobs. Part number 22110689 and 22100951 were Cadillac logo keyfobs. Regardless which logo or part number all these transmitters are the same and can be used on the same vehicles. All of these remotes have been discontinued by GM.
This was a 318MHz transmitter which had 4 buttons (lock, unlock, trunk, domelight.) We test the remote before we send it to you so we can be sure we are sending a properly functioning remote. Buick Reatta and Riviera are onboard programmable, meaning you will be able to add more remotes to your car yourself with our included instructions. Cadillac Eldorado and Oldsmobile Riviera require a dealer or automotive locksmith to perform programming via scan tool connection to vehicle.
This is a clonable remote so if you have a remote that works you could avoid programming by sending us the working remote so we can make clones of it’s codes and send it back to you with as many clone remotes (that already work with your car) as you want. This is especially useful on Eldorado and Riviera since they aren’t onboard programmable.
Due to the rarity of the original remote we can’t accomodate requests for a particular logo if you order an original remote. The clone remote is the wiser choice anyway (unless this is for a restoration project where everything just has to be original.)
